Ministries
- The Associate Director shall be involved in all ongoing operations of MBC. This includes, but is not limited to, all times when the Center is serving the community with the distribution of food and clothing and providing spiritual counseling.
Schedule
- The Associate Director will carry out all ministry programs and other activities in co-operation with MBC Director or designated supervisor.
Finances
- The Associate Director will be responsible for adhering to the centers budget in keeping with MBC policy as set by MBC Board of Directors.
Volunteers
- The Associate Director shall train and direct volunteers of the Center to help in the furthering of the Center’s ministries.
Local Church involvement
- The Associate Director shall seek to develop cooperation with local Southern Baptist churches. When assigned by Executive Director, be available to speak in local SBC churches and meetings.

The Associate Director will report to the Metro Baptist Center Director or designated individual.

Accredited College and Seminary degrees or the equivalent. Master’s degree or greater is preferred.
A committed Christian with a strong commitment to the Baptist doctrine as set forth in the “2000 Baptist Faith and Message”.
Prior pastoral or urban ministry experience.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to plan and conduct conferences, fund raising, social media, outreach events and other ministry activities.
Ability to work cooperatively with, and manage, other staff members and volunteers.
Must be an active member of a cooperating SBC church.
